In keeping with The Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center Mission Statement, the Day Camp program provides children of all ability levels the opportunity to play and grow in a positive and safe environment. We strive to develop the whole child- mentally, physically, and emotionally- through structured group activities that aid in socialization and self-confidence through exploration and adventure.

Extended care hours are free during winter and spring camp, drop-off as early as 6:30 a.m., pick-up as late as 6:00 6 p.m.
Staff
We feel confident that we have the best staff around! Our staff is as diverse as our campers. The majority of our staff is recruited from local colleges and universities. Most importantly, our staff is made up of people who love kids. They want to spend their time playing, teaching, and working with children. All Kroc Center Day Camp staff is certified in basic First Aid and CPR and receive extensive training prior to the start of camp. You can be sure that we are hiring the “best of the best” to work with your children.
To maximize the learning experience and to maintain a safe environmentthe following ratios are maintained with the ACA accreditation standards in mind, as well as consideration of ages that have historically been successful in common camp groups. For groups with wider age ranges such as Swim Camp, ratios are set according to the recommended ratio for the youngest age in the group.
