Kroc Kids Summer Drama Camp
Ages 8 – 13

Come help Thomas O’Malley and his rag-tag bunch of Alley Cats save Duchess and her Aristokittens! In this 2 week camp, you will learn to sing, dance and perform in the beautiful Joan B. Kroc Theatre with full costumes and sets! The last day of camp includes a ½ hour performance of Disney’s Aristocats at 1:00 pm. All skill levels welcome.

This Broadway classic introduces us to colorful characters who have become legends in the canon: Sarah Brown, the upright but uptight "mission doll," out to reform the evildoers of Times Square; Sky Masterson, the slick, high-rolling gambler who woos her on a bet and ends up falling in love; Adelaide, the nightclub performer whose chronic cold is brought on by the fact she's been engaged to the same man for 14 years; and Nathan Detroit, her devoted fiancé, desperate as always to find a spot for his infamous floating crap game. This hilarious story with memorable music takes us from the heart of Times Square to the cafes of Havana, Cuba, and even into the sewers of New York City. Funny and romantic, “Guys And Dolls” is exuberant, irreverent and lighthearted and is considered by many to be the perfect musical comedy!

Audition Workshop
Ages 8 – 18
Auditions should be fun!!! Kroc Kids would like to offer the opportunity for students interested in auditioning for Guys and Dolls Junior to participate in a one day audition workshop to help familiarize them with the show and take some of the stress out of auditioning.

Includes a mock audition to get rid of those jitters and have a chance to go through the audition process without the pressure of it being an actual audition!

There will not be an accompanist so please bring a 1 minute taped or cd accompaniment of a song you would like to sing.
